MOVIE POSTER
Project 1
Objectives of Project
• To develop freehand drawing skills through combination of self-expression, natural and man-made object drawing, architectural lettering, tonal values and rendering.
• To develop skills in colouring using watercolour or any colouring medium and choosing the right colour palette to capture the essence and express the genre of the film.
Learning Outcomes of this Project
Illustrate architectural forms and space through visualization and expression of space in the form of freehand drawing.
In this project, we were tasked to produce a movie poster with the objective of developing our freehand drawing skills and colouring skills. We were given creative freedom to develop the movie poster however we wanted to, as long as it included figure drawing, a natural element, a man-made element and lettering in various sizes to follow the typical format of a movie poster.
I quite enjoyed working on this project as it allowed me to let my creativity wander. It also greatly improved my freehand drawing skills and colouring skills as I had to work on these skills to make my final piece presentable. The feedback that I received from my tutor Ms. Shahrianne every week when I presented my progress was also extremely helpful.
BEDLAM

Aided by an accomplice from his glory days, the pair make a cross country trip to their hometown, running into every possible kind of trouble. With the trail of dead bodies they are leaving behind increasing and the police hot on their heels, the line between fiction and reality starts to get real blurry, especially with new information coming to light. He realises he cannot trust anyone; not his ex-wife, not his partner in crime and definitely not himself.
